Tian Tian

Using the nutritional benefits of soya, TianTian is a concentrated formula specially developed to provide the optimum balance of natural ingredients that not only tastes delicious but is rich in phytonutrients, isoflavones, anti-oxidants and lutein.  25 servings per bottle. 750ml .

Until now traditional soy products have often lacked the taste needed to appeal to Western palates. TianTian was specially developed to address that particular issue and at the same time provide a good balance of natural ingredients. The product is non GM and suitable for vegetarians. TianTian concentrate is rich in Phytonutrients, Isoflavones and Anti-Oxidants. It also contains Lutein known to be beneficial to skin and eye health.

Speaking at the product’s official launch in October 2004, Aedin Cassidy who is Professor of Diet and Health at the University of East Anglia and an internationally renowned expert in the field of soy isoflavones talked of the growing demand for functional foods with specific, demonstrable and quantifiable benefits. She outlined the value of TianTian’s ingredients and described it as: “A convenient solution to help meet our nutritional needs.” She went on to explain: “Diet is an important determinant of our health and the health benefits of dietary compounds like folic acid and soy isoflavones are of significant interest in nutrition research at the moment.”

Phytonutrients occur naturally in soy and are similar in structure to the human oestrogen hormones important for the health of bones, heart, brain and the female reproductive system. Phytonutrients are acknowledged anti-oxidants and play an important role in general good health and well being for both men and women. Western diets lack sufficient phytonutrients with the result that, in stark contrast to many Eastern populations, there is a greater susceptibility to cardiovascular disease, cancer and other health problems.

Isoflavones are particularly important to post menopausal women who are at risk from health problems relating to oestrogen deficiency. Isoflavones have been shown to decrease the risk of developing osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease and symptoms often associated with menopause such as hot flushes.

Lutein is important to eye health. It is associated with lowering the risk of developing cataracts and has been shown to protect against free radical damage to the retina, one of the main causes of age related macular degeneration.
